You'll boot into recovery mode. 2) Click on Utilities -> Terminal and type 'csrutil disable' to disable Integrity mode, otherwise it will not let you copy the folder to the System directory in a later step. 2) Download this ruby file: 3) From terminal, run: ruby patch-edid.rb 4) Copy the folder it spits out into this location: /System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides 5) Reboot your mac.
